At Africa Social Work and Development Network (ASWDNet) our policy is to not collect data of users of our online services where possible, and if we have to collect data, it has to be minimum and essential.
Our specific policy directions are:
- No to collect data that we can’t not use.
- Collect data and use it with permission.
- Minimise the data collected.
- Verify data when we are not sure.
- Allow data to be removed easily
- Allow users to opt out easily
