In Africa culture, a person has many parents. These include your own biological parents and family parents.
Family mothers include your mother’s sisters and the wives of your father’s brothers. Family mothers are not aunts, aunts are your fathers’s sisters.
There are also:
- Family fathers (not uncles)
- Family sisters and brothers (not cousin siblings)
- Family grandparents
- etc
