Imbeleko model

Mbeleko is a blanket or clothes used to carry babies, usually on the back but also in the front.

In other languages mbeleko is ankelba, engozi or mbereko.

Imbeleko model of care is a metaphor which represents deep care. When a child or sick person is strapped in mbeleko, this represents deep caring.
