Innovative fieldwork practicum in Africa social work training: Lessons from rural camp initiative in India

Rural camp is one of the important innovative and developmental pedagogical dimensions in field work which provides opportunities to learn from and contribute to the development of rural communities. Rural camp involves students planning and designing action activities for themselves and those for rural people and also helps in developing practical skills to plan with rural communities as well as intervene, evaluate, and finally document with them.
