Call for Abstracts for the upcoming ASASWEI Biennial Conference
The Association of South African Social Work Education Institutions (ASASWEI) is pleased to share the Call for Abstracts for the upcoming ASASWEI Biennial Conference that will be held in person at the University of the Free State from 10 to 12 September 2025 (see attached flyer). The conference will be presented alongside prominent partners and key stakeholders such as the University of the Free State, the Free State Provincial Department of Social Development, the National Department of Social Development, the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP), the Association of Schools of Social Work in Africa (ASSWA), and International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW)

Advancing Social, Economic, and Environmental Justice, Peace Building, and Sustainable Development Through Teaching, Research and Practice

1. Green Social Work and Climate Resilience: Supporting Vulnerable Communities in the Face of Environmental Crisis.
