Also referred to as the Ubuntu database, this compressive and first of its kind bibliography is maintained by Robert Chigangaidze on behalf of the Ubuntu Research Group. Updated January 2024. It can be used to locate literature on Ubuntu to put in subject outlines, to buy or recommend librarians, to identify gaps, for literature reviews by students and academics.

Version 1.2, had 40 entries and was first created in 2021.

Version 2.1 has 105 entries and was created in 2024.
