Changamire Dombo

Changamire Dombo was a leader who challenged Portuguese domination in southern Africa during the 17th century. He united several Shona polities and expelled European forces from the interior. He established the Rozvi Empire, which controlled gold trade routes. His leadership restored African control over key territories.
