Chinua Achebe
Chinua Achebe was a Nigerian novelist best known for Things Fall Apart, a story that
portrayed the impact of colonialism from an African perspective. He wrote extensively on
identity, language, and postcolonial governance. Achebe was also active in public affairs and
taught internationally. His writings remain foundational in African and global literature.
