Joshua Nkomo

Joshua Nkomo was a key figure in Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle and co-founder of the
Zimbabwe African People’s Union. He later joined the government as Vice-President.
Nkomo advocated unity and reconciliation after the war. He is recognised as one of
Zimbabwe’s founding fathers.
