WHAT CERTIFICATES DO WE ISSUE
Use the form below to request your certificate if you are:
- A member of the International Advisory Board of the African Journal of Social Work (AJSW)
- A member of the Editorial Board or Assistant Editor of the AJSW
- A member of the Editorial Board of the People-Centred – the Journal of Development Administration (JDA)
- Editorial board member of Journal of Ubuntu (JoU)
- Editorial and creative board member of Owia Bulletin
- A member of the African Independent Ethics Committee (AIEC)
- A mentor or mentor of the ASWDNet Kuumba Program
- A member of the ASWDNet requesting a support or commendation letter (*a statement is required, use box4 below).
- A reviewer requesting a letter confirming you have reviewed for any of our journals
- An award winner – annual Social Work and Development Award
- Have attended or presented at the Africa Day Indaba (write in box 4 is you attended, presented or both)
- Have attended or presented at the Annual Ubuntu Lecture/Fundo yaUbuntu (write in box 4 is you attended, presented or both)
- Have completed Kuumba (Mentoring) – either mentee or mentor
- Requesting CPD hours confirmation (earned from ASWDNet or others) – see details here (*a statement is required, use box 4 below).
- Have presented, attended or organised) the Social Work and Development Student Conference (SWDSC) for 15 minutes or more (write in box 4 what you did)
- Have attended the Ubuntu Pedagogy Masterclass
- Have finished a training course in Mfundo (*a statement of learning of between 200 and 500 words is required, use box 5 below. The statement should cover 1. What you learned [content]. 2. Skills gained 3. Deep thinking about one selected aspect of the training. 4. How the learning will improve your practices).
- Has attended Wazee Day Indaba (Day of Older Persons Webinar) [Certificate issued by ASSWA]

Please request certificates within one week after an event or appointment. Certificates requested after that takes time to verify and process.
